What do the names of coffee mean?

What do all the exotic names mean?

Most unblended coffees, are named by country of origin (“Columbia”), and often by grade (“Supremo’). Grading varies by country, and often includes such criteria as bean size and growing altitude. In addition, more specific growing district, regional or estate names identify many single-origin coffees.

Blended coffees are sometimes named to denote their ingredients (“Mocha java”), but more frequently are proprietary, or may denote the degree of roast (French”, “Vienna’) rather than the constituent coffees.
